Kelsey Stack

Data and Policy Analyst

Kelsey joined the Enroll Indy team in September 2019. She is from Indianapolis and holds an undergraduate degree in Finance from the Kelley School of Business and a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington. Most recently, Kelsey worked as a consulting analyst for Ascend Indiana, which works to connect Indiana employers with a skilled workforce. Prior to pursuing her Master’s degree, she spent three years teaching high school math in Charlotte, NC as a Teach for America corps member. Before joining Teach for America and pivoting to a career in education, Kelsey was a merchandising business analyst at Target in Minneapolis, MN.

Why do you do this work?

My experiences teaching in a high school setting shed light on the inequities that exist among schools within the same city. At the high school where I taught, students had limited access to AP courses, extracurriculars, appropriate class sizes, and technology. While the district had choice seats, the majority of students were assigned to their boundary school regardless of the school’s academic outcomes or graduation rates. For these reasons, I am so excited to join the Enroll Indy team, where we work to provide the platform for equitable school access and transparent information about a diverse set of school options for families in Center Township.
