2021-2022 ENROLLMENT

Ongoing Enrollment & Transfers

Ongoing enrollment (also known as mid-year enrollment) for the 2021-22 school year is available for families who want or need a new school for the current school year. While our physical office remains closed at this time, our team members are available to assist by phone Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm.

We are also available to assist by email at info@enrollindy.org.

IPS Choice, Innovation, and Charter Enrollment

The Open Seat Report is a static PDF showing the number of available choice program seats at each school, in each grade level, at the start of the day. This will be updated once daily, Monday through Friday, at 8:00am. Open seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

All IPS enrollment is completed through Enroll Indy. Those wishing to enroll in a charter school may work either directly with the school or through Enroll Indy to claim a seat.

IPS Neighborhood School Registration

All K-8 students* living within IPS district boundaries have a neighborhood school assigned to them based upon their addresses. Every student has a right to a seat in their neighborhood school, and can enroll there at any time.

First, visit our School Finder and input your address to verify the neighborhood school assigned to your address. You can also open this map to view boundaries for all IPS neighborhood schools.

Once you have confirmed the neighborhood school assigned to your address and wish to complete your registration, click the button below.

*Please note that there are no longer assigned neighborhood high schools for students in grades 9-12. In 2018 IPS moved to a career academy model, meaning all high school students in Center Township must actively select and enroll in an IPS, Innovation, or charter high school.
