Enroll for 2025-26

All families wishing to claim a seat in an IPS pre-K program must do so by phone. Families no longer have to reside in-district to attend an IPS pre-K.

Families wishing to enroll at Theodore Potter in grades K-2 are able to do so via the Open Seat Portal. Families wishing to enroll in grades 3-5 at Theodore Potter or grades 7-8 at Harshman Middle School must demonstrate Spanish proficiency with a qualifying assessment.

For testing at Harshman Dual Language, please call 317-226-4101 or email Dual Language Programs (duallanguageprograms@myips.org).

These seats will not be available via the Open Seat Portal, and can only be claimed by phone. Students must first pass the high ability test, which can be arranged by contacting giftedandtalented@myips.org.

While families of students entering 9th grade may claim seats via the Open Seat Portal, students entering grades 10, 11, and 12 at an IPS high school (Arsenal Technical High School, Crispus Attucks High School, George Washington High School, and Shortridge High School) must do so by phone, as our team must verify students' eligibility to transfer.

Families must call Enroll Indy so that our team can verify transfer eligibility. Once families have claimed a seat, they have seven (7) days to prove International Baccalaureate (IB) experience to the school or the seat will be rescinded.
